AlgaeSTOP works by targeting and disrupting nuisance algae in ornamental ponds, fountains, and water gardens, helping restore clarity and maintain a balanced aquatic environment.

It controls a wide range of green water, string, and hair algae by interfering with their growth processes and, in self-contained ponds and aquariums, stops algae growth with its fast-acting polymeric active ingredient. AlgaeSTOP acts directly on existing algae blooms to prevent photosynthesis and reproduction. As treated algae die off, they are easily removed through filtration or manual cleaning, and a weekly maintenance dosage helps prevent new growth.

When used as directed in a well-aerated, contained pond system, AlgaeSTOP keeps water clean and clear while supporting a healthy environment for fish and aquatic plants.
