The Pondmaster ClearGuard Pressurized Pond Filters use biological and mechanical filtration to clarify and clear up pond water. By decreasing levels of harmful ammonia and nitrite, they produce a healthier aquatic ecosystem. When equipped with the UV clarifier, the ClearGuard filters use ultraviolet light to turn green water algae into clear water very quickly (often in less than one week).

These pressure filters feature 7 functions: filter, backwash, rinse, winterize, empty, circulate, and close. They include a pressure gauge and a heavy duty lid clamp with knob. Their foam filter pad is reusable. 

Please Note: The filter models with UV's include one bulb each with the exception of the 16000 model which has 2 UV bulbs.

But, an extra UV light can be easily added to every model if a higher wattage is needed.  Ex: A 2700 filter w/UV comes standard with an 18 watt UV but you can purchase an additional UV bulb to achieve 36 total watts if desired. 

The filter has to be connected to a water pump that is submersed or above ground (pump not included).

These pressure filters have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
