Matala EZ Air Pro Aeration Kit | 7 Options
The Matala EZ Air Pro Kit includes everything needed for pond aeration: Hakko 110v air pump, air diffuser(s), weighted air hosing and even a control manifold on the larger models. The pump has a 3 year warranty, and the hose and diffuser(s) have a 1 year warranty.
Aeration improves just about every aspect of your pond. The increased oxygen levels throughout the entire pond will make your fish healthier and more active because they will not be confined to just the pond surface where there is typically more dissolved oxygen. Beneficial bacteria activity in your pond will also improve with more oxygen. Beneficial bacteria feed on excess nutrients in your pond water, the same nutrients that algae feed upon. When beneficial bacteria are active and numerous, they outcompete algae. This action also accelerates the breakdown of sludge in the bottom of the pond.
