This vacuum is just what we needed & the staff at Pond & Garden Depot were very helpful. The directions for setting up the vacuum to operate are pretty straightforward, but full of cautions so one doesn't get electrocuted. You do need a bit of patience and mechanical aptitude, but not extremely difficult. The vacuum does what it promised and is easy to set up once assembled. This would be great for someone who had not neglected pond cleaning as we did. It will be a process to remove all the accumulated muck, but we have resigned ourselves to that reality. A good purchase to help pond owners do their own regular cleanings.

I used this vacuum for the first time today on my pond and I am very pleased with its performance. It removes all the dirt and some small rocks with ease. I wish I would have gotten this sooner this vacuum will make cleaning my pond much easier it comes with multiple tools to ease cleaning in different situations. It also comes with multiple extensions to reach ponds that are deep.
