Green Vista's Matala Koi Kubes provide high surface coverage and years of effective filtration in ponds, water gardens, aquariums or aquaculture systems. They are a great upgrade for any brand of waterfall or bio-filter tank, including Aquascape, Atlantic, Easy Pro, Laguna, Pondmaster, Savio and Tetra. The 1" to 3" cubes are safe for fish  and can last 5 to 6+ years!

Clean Koi Kubes bio media by simply rinsing with water as needed for your filtration system. 

SUPERIOR SUBSTRATE FOR BENEFICIAL BACTERIA COLONIZATION
These biological cubes cover roughly 300 square feet of surface area per cubic foot, much more than lava rocks, bio balls or ribbon materials, for example. The bio cubes allow your pond filter to maintain greater levels of beneficial bacteria, resulting in clearer and healthier water thereby improving your pond's ability to handle more fish.

Weighing about 2 pounds per cubic foot, the Koi Kubes are much lighter than lava rock, (which weigh about 50 pounds per cubic foot).
