White Koi Kubes Fish Filter Media

Green Vista's Koi Kubes are made to provide high surface coverage and effective filtration in ponds, water gardens, aquariums or aquaculture systems. They are a great upgrade for any brand of waterfall or bio-filter tank, including Aquascape, Atlantic, Easy Pro, Laguna, Pondmaster, Savio and Tetra. These ultra light Koi Kubes may vary from 1" to 3" thick and possess an excellent fibrous texture for good bacteria to grow and colonize on.  Expected life span for this filter media is approximately 2-3 years.

Clean White Koi Kubes bio media by simply rinsing with water as needed.

SUPERIOR SUBSTRATE FOR BENEFICIAL BACTERIA COLONIZATION
These biological cubes cover roughly 350 square feet of surface area per cubic foot, much more than lava rocks, bio balls or ribbon materials. The bio cubes allow your pond filter to maintain greater levels of beneficial bacteria, resulting in clearer and healthier water which improves your pond's ability to handle more fish.

Weighing about 1 pound per cubic foot, the White Koi Kubes are much lighter than lava rock, (which weighs about 50 pounds per cubic foot).

The included Hydro-Bugs Bacteria for bio filters will give your water feature a healthy jump start by reducing harmful ammonia and nitrites. This good beneficial bacteria colonizes and grows on the Koi Kubes to effectively filter ponds and other water systems containing fish.
