This Standard Duty Support Grate is available in four sizes: 12" x 24", 24" x 24", 24" x 36", and 24" x 48". Perfect for covering the basin of a water feature or pondless waterfall. It is rigid and 1/2 inch thick.

With cinder blocks placed properly beneath its center, these black grates can support up to 150 pounds for the 12" x 24" model, and 300 pounds for all larger models! That makes it ideal for holding a bubbling rock, basalt column or rock cover to hide your catch basin, or for creating a water fountain. With a hole size of about 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch, the grate can hold small lava rocks or beach pebbles. We recommend using cinder blocks supports (spaced at 12" intervals ideally) under the grate for all applications.

Please note: as these are cut to size, these may have 1 or 2 cut edges. 

Duronet Hardware Cloth Plastic Mesh is available to keep out fine debris.

    Works great - raccoons are mad.

    Purchased 2 for my bubbling rock. Cut around the rock and supported with blocks. Raccoons were a terror in my open pond so this solved that problem as the pond is no longer exposed.
