In addition to providing the beauty and serene sounds of a waterfall, the Pondmaster Proline Waterfall Biofilter provides beneficial biological filtration.
These Proline waterfall boxes are designed to hold bagged filter media or filter pads of your choice (not included). Filter media traps debris, and the surface allows beneficial bacteria to colonize. Beneficial bacteria feed on the same excess nutrients that feed algae, outcompeting the algae and effectively keeping the pond crystal clear and healthy!
This waterfall biofilter has a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Works and much cheaper than buying at landscape store

Got lucky with this purchase
After having lost my koi fish at end of March it was time to add some upgrades and first one was a waterfall karma gave me a win on price the plain empty waterbox was a higher price than the one with bio media my win someone wasn't paying attention. That being said great looking waterfall I placed it on top of 2 cmu blocks still need to run plumbing and move stone around I'll update pics when done

thes filter pads work great and will last a long time

Nice box
It is a good size for medium to smaller ponds. I have two of them, each on their own pump and they work just fine. I like the inclusion of the bio media but would have been nice if they had the filter pads as well. I searched for them but couldn't find the ones that were contoured for the box as the manual shows, so I ended up just buying a 24" x 24" set and cut them in half. That worked great for me.
