The Pondmaster Mag Drive Pump is energy efficient thanks to magnetic drive technology. Built to operate 24/7, this pump features a ceramic impeller and includes a prefilter. Each pump model has a grounded power cord that is 18 feet long.
Because of its compact size and ability to be used inline or submerged, this pump is ideal for a wide variety of applications. It can send water to an ornamental pond spitter or power a fountain. It also can be used to filter and circulate water in a koi pond or water garden.

Bulletproof champ
Relible, quiet, bullet proof pump. This is the second one I've had to buy in the twenty years I've had a pond. I rebuilt my first with an impeller replacement and it works as good as new. Now, I guess I need to make some fountains. Look out De Blasio

Reliable Pump
This PM24 was an emergency replacement for an original PM24 pump that was 5 yrs+. This pump runs 24/7, is dependable and works great for a 2K gal fish pond. The ability to order this pump from Amazon on a Fri eve and have delivery on Sun was impressive and most appreciated since the original failed on a Fri eve.

Make sure you are buying "new" and not used or refurbished.
I have had this model pump on my 3000 gallon pond since 2000. The first one lasted about 12 years. The second lasted up to the present time but is making noise and some times won't start after being shut down to clean filters so I am ordering a new one. In all fairness I have to admit that the second pump was either refurbished, used or a return because it's always been a little noisy whereas the first pump was always quiet. I got such a good price that I decided to go with it. This time around I am making sure that the replacement pump is in a factory sealed box. This pump is pumping up 4 feet to a waterfalls about a foot wide and makes a nice splash and aerates the water. I've used several of the smaller models on water features and smaller ponds all with excellent results.

I put this in my duck pond, and duck ponds aren’t clean, and it has ran non stop. Couldn’t be happier.

Don't know of a better pump
Really good pond pump. Have a 3,000+ gph version they don't make anymore. I have had it for years but have had to replace the impeller assembly several times - thus the 4 vs. 5 star rating. I got this model so that it would be more compatible with the pond filter flow limits to see if it helps to clean up the water better. I am hoping the impeller will also last longer.

Awesome pumps!!
These work great low utility costs, Quality pumps,this is the second one owned first lasted me 12 yrs running constantly at 8 month stretches.
