The Matala filter Media Pads are firm, stable, and rigid while not being brittle. It even boasts a high level of crush resistance, can be cut easily to fit in biofilters and in a wide variety of filter applications. Each size of Matala sheet measures approximately 1.5 inches thick.

So much better than the older flexible media
So much better than the older flexible media. Easy to cut to fit my pond filter and they stay in place. My pond is crystal clear in one week.

Original is best
It is exactly what i was looking for in pond bio filteration. I wish some one make a proper box for them either in half size or full size so people can can just connect it on line.
