Heavy Duty Reservoir Grate for Water Features | 8 Sizes

If you don't want a sagging or leaning water feature, then use this heavy duty grate to keep it upright and level. This sturdy, self supporting grate platform requires no additional support for most water features. It is commonly used to cover water basins or reservoirs that support bubbling rocks, fountain vases, pottery or faux rocks. You can also use this strong black grate to construct a pondless waterfall or different pondless water feature.
Duronet Hardware Cloth Plastic Mesh is available to keep out fine debris.
- The 24" x 24" size is cut to size from a larger 24" x 48" grate, so will have one cut edge.
- We recommend adding support blocks under the grate's center for any fountain, stone or other feature that weighs over 50 pounds because even a heavy duty grate can sag in time without support. With cinder blocks added beneath, this grate can support up to 1,000 pounds.
- This product is only a support grate. Basins, reservoirs and pond liners to create water features are sold separately.

Heavy Duty construction
Used these for a grate for a set of 3 bubbler rocks, one of which weighs 120 pounds. After installing, I was able to walk on these without concern of breaking them or sagging. Worked perfect for the application

Awesome for Other Uses
This is our second purchase of the same grate. It is extremely sturdy, straight not bent or warped, and was perfect size 24x24. We used it as a cover up paver, to go over our sprinkler box and become part of the pavered hard scape. It serves as a drain as well for water off of the paver patio.. and we sit on top of it our flower pots to further disguise the sprinkler access box. We love it and have one for each side of our patio where we needed to cover up. The color is a gray / black charcoal with variations in the color that match perfectly our gray/charcoal gray paver stones. I wish I could share a pic of how gorgeous this turned out. We are so HAPPY! Thanks!

Heavy duty fountain grating
I build several water features a week and this is by far the best plastic grating that I have found online. At 185lbs I've stood on this grating and it didn't budge at all. On occasions I've had to trim the grating to fit my water features and it still maintains its strength while resting on two one inch supports that run the length of the grating. This would be great in a variety of water features where you need something strong enough to hold decorative over your basin.

Versitile and Sturdy
After receiving multiple quotes for over $1,000 each to create a metal grate insert for an opening in my deck over the basement window well, I went with this product, and after about an hour with a saw and a Dremel, it fits perfectly. Saved me $900! Good quality and very well made.
