The Medium 22" Elite Waterfall Box features two 2" bulkhead openings, which allows water tubing to be installed on either side. The second bulkhead opening can be used as a back flush for water changes or to connect multiple pumps or hoses.
This waterfall box is Blue Thumb part number PB1083 (formerly known as Pond Builder).
The two included Matala filter mats provide twice as much surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. These sturdy mats last up to four times longer than traditional mats. The waterfall box snout (for liner attachment) is reversible. Place the snout the usual way for basic installation, or reverse it for a more advanced waterfall appearance.
The included self-tapping stainless steel screws are corrosion resistant and make installation of the snout (weir) easy.
The waterfall box includes a 2" glue fitting to accept 2" flex PVC hose and a 2" plug.
