EasyPro's AquaFalls Series are top-of-the-line biological waterfall filters designed to maintain the health of ponds and provide a foundation for waterfalls and streams. This series comes in two sizes: the AS2 Small AquaFalls and the AL2 Large AquaFalls.
AS2 Small AquaFalls:
Designed for ponds up to 2,500 gallons, the AS2 Small AquaFalls is perfect for smaller ponds. It features an inlet hole on each side, offering flexibility for water intake. Choose the side that suits your setup and use the included plug or a ball valve to seal the other hole conveniently. Installation is a breeze – simply bolt the lip to the filter, eliminating the need for laborious foaming of the rock lip.
The AquaFalls Filters are designed to be discreet, buried in the ground for seamless integration into your pond landscape. The package includes a faux rock lip, stainless steel hardware, and three Matala filter pads (1 green, 2 blue) with a support stand. Additionally, two mesh media bags (MB21), two 2" bulkhead fittings, a 2" PVC male adapter, a 2" x 1 1/2" reducing male adapter, a 2" PVC plug, and black silicone are provided.
AL2 Large AquaFalls:
For larger ponds, up to 15,000 gallons, the AL2 Large AquaFalls delivers robust filtration performance. Similar to its smaller counterpart, it offers an inlet hole on each side, providing convenient options for water intake. The installation process is hassle-free – attach the lip to the filter without the need for intricate foaming of the rock lip.
Like the AS2, the AL2 is designed to be discreetly hidden in the ground, maintaining the natural aesthetics of your pond. The comprehensive package includes a faux rock lip, stainless steel hardware, and three Matala filter pads (1 green, 2 blue) with a support stand. It goes a step further by offering six mesh media bags (MB21), two 3" bulkhead fittings, a 3" PVC male adapter, a 3" PVC plug, and black silicone.
Both AquaFalls filters utilize high-surface-area filter pads and media, trapping suspended debris and promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria for effective biological filtration.
