The Aquascape Pond Aerator Kits feature a pond aerator pump with strong exterior housing and a wide, flat base. An internal rubber gasket and external rubber feet reduce pump noise and vibration. The premium 3/16" black silicone air line remains flexible and resists algae formation in the line, unlike clear air lines. The system's diaphragm and assembly cartridge are replaceable. The manufacturer recommends the pump be protected from airborne dust and debris.
Every pond process depends on oxygen. With water's dissolved oxygen levels in constant fluctuation, having a pond oxygenator is important all year. In summer, an aerator adds oxygen and helps to circulate water. In winter, the aerator helps keep a small hole in surface ice, especially when the air discs are located near a floating de-icer, allowing toxic gases to escape.

This product isn't made for cold weather, once cold it becomes noisy and fails
Easy to install but again NOT made for cold weather applications, but check other brands and their return policy because these people expect you to return the item as it was purchased.....If it worked as well as you stated there would be no reason to return it????...In other words buy from someone else ?

Aerator
I have a 4000+ gallon koi pond. This aerator keeps the oxygen levels up. I have not lost a koi over the winter since using this product. I run it 24x7 365 days a year. The internal membranes wear out after about 3 years but can be replaced easily without having to buy a new pump.

Easy install
This pump is quite and has ot of power.I purchased it because my old pump I got of ebay wasn't cutting itI live in California and my pond gets direct sun light. With this new pump it helps clear up my water.

Works well
Purchased to increase O2 in my koi pond for the winter. Had a two pad in for the summer which did the job. Now the plants are going dormant need more O2.

Fantastic all the way around!
This fall I upgraded From the aqua scape two port to the Four line port. I’ve had two port aqua scape for about four years with absolutely no problems However This year I decided I needed more aeration going into the winter months because my Koi are so large. So I upgraded to the four line aeration. It’s quite a bit larger than the two port but it is just as quiet. As always I’m very pleased with my aqua scape products! Also I guess I should mention it’s very easy to set up. The only thing that takes a while is placing the line in the pond and disguising it.
