The Aquascape AquaSurge series of pond pumps are the perfect blend of energy-efficiency and power. These pumps are versatile and can be used in a wide variety of installations. They can fit inside various models of pond skimmers and can also be used with many types of waterfall filters. These pumps can also be used in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. A pump stand is included to allow for vertical positioning.
These submersible pumps feature an asynchronous motor, which provides lots of power paired with great energy efficiency. These pumps are also designed to operate continuously. They feature a stainless steel rotor (impeller) that is resistant to corrosion and provides years of trouble-free operation. The pump's design also has a unique ceramic shaft with cooling port that helps to prevent the pump from overheating, helping to ensure a long operational lifespan. Each model also comes with a variety of fittings for your convenience, including a 1.5" rotational ball output, a 1.5-2" multi-hose adapter, a 1", 1.25", 1.5" multi-hose adapter, and a 1.5" female adapter.
The oil-free design makes the pump safe for fish, aquatic plants and other pond life.

Does the job!
We were having problems with our (old) aquascape 4000 pump and with the hot weather we have been experiencing we ordered a backup in case ours stops again. We are very happy with this pump which is why we purchased another. Runs well, quietly, and with the free bag with the new pump it will be a great help in keeping frogs from getting stuck in the pump.(ugh!). H.ad very fast service and received this new one in 4 days from order. Other places said it would be a couple weeks

VERY EFFICIENT & RELIABLE POND PUMP
I have found the Aquascape line of pond pumps to be very efficient and reliable pumps, easily handle a 15 foot rise, and keep a steady flow. I like the 5,000 GPH for the heavier flow and use two of them on our 4 tier backyard pond system.
