These pumps also offer high quality seals for durability, along with an intake screen that prevents larger debris from clogging the pump, which is able to handle solids up to 1/4" in diameter. For even more comprehensive protection, these pumps feature a thermal overload sensor which prevents pump burnout during constant use, and helps to keep your pump running for as long as possible. Monsoon pumps, also known as fish pond pumps, are safe for fish as they contain no oil, making them completely safe for fish and aquatic plants.
